Weekly Update (10/30/2018)

After a missions conference in Pennsylvania, we had the change to be with two churches in Indianapolis. Last week, I also had the chance to preach at two different Christian schools for their chapel service. The first was with our mission board director, Jeff Bush. We are grateful for the opportunities we have to spend time with men who love and serve God! Tomorrow, we will be just south of Cincinnati before we head back to Georgia.

It also seems that we have hit a time of harvest (literally and figuratively). We had what seemed like a dry spell over the last month with few churches that had reached out to us to let us know about support. However, this past week 3 churches decided to take us on!

From the News

Japan’s bullet trains connect many of the major cities and allow for easy, efficient travel. However, one of the railways had been requiring their employees to stand close the the tracks as a train would go by doing 187 miles per hour. Due to safety concerns, this training has been cancelled. Click here to read more about the training and to learn about the train system
