This past Sunday, we had the chance to present in two Churches in southern Florida. The church we were with on Sunday night voted to take us on right there. Afterward, one of the men in the church told us that he has been there 14 years and that was the first time they had taken on a missionary that way while he has been there. On Wednesday, we will be in Virginia, and on Saturday, we will be heading to Ohio for some meetings.
Last week, we finished up the Our Generation Student Leadership Conference. Students from several churches visited and had the chance to attend a mosque, Buddhist temple, Hindu temple, synagogue and Catholic church. After touring these sights and asking their teachers questions, it is quite apparent that these religions do not have true answers. Once again, I was reminded of God’s mercy through the numerous opportunities that we have had to hear the Gospel growing up as well as to the chance to tell others about Him.

We are frequently asked about the Japanese money that is on our display table and why some of the coins have holes in them. Recently, an archaeological dig unearthed quite a few ancient Japanese coins. These coins are the reason why our 5 yen coins have holes in them! You can visit this site to read about the discovery and see the pictures. They are fascinating.
