As we were headed home from our meeting in southern Mississippi last Thursday, the church we were scheduled to be with on Sunday night called because they needed to cancel. While this is not the first time this has happened, and the Lord has always provided a place for us to be when this happens, I did not have a good attitude about it. However, the Lord was merciful. As we were driving to Kentucky, on Saturday, I continued to reach out to pastors and churches to see if there would be an open door for us. There was! On Saturday night, I received word from a church saying we could come and share our burden for Japan with them. In the end, everything worked out much better than our original plans! God continues to be good to us.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with the leadership from a church just north of Memphis. We had presented at one of the churches previously, but since they merged with another church, I was able to meet with the new pastor. He said he would present us to the church to take us on for support.
Tonight, we will be presenting in another church in Kentucky before heading back to the Atlanta area for a meeting tomorrow.
