Getting the word out (3/5/2019)

Right now, we are working on strengthening efforts in getting visitors to the church by going door to door, and posting flyers and passing out invitations. Please be praying for next Thursday since this is when the church will be holding the White Day event.

After the Sunday morning service, I had the chance to speak with a lady who has been attending with her two children on most Sunday mornings. Based on our conversation, I know the Lord is working in her heart, but she is trying to sort out what it will mean for her to believe on Jesus since her family is Buddhist. Please pray for Mrs. Watanabe.

On Monday, we were able to take a day as a family to go enjoy the aquarium near our house (5 minutes away). We enjoyed seeing the many different kinds of fish and marveled at God’s creation. We are sad that most of the people who surround us do not know this creator and covert your prayers as we work to make Him known!

From the News

We’ve seem our share of strange things in Japan, but recently, a company decided to make a drinkable form of Onigiri, or rice balls. Rice balls are commonly sold in supermarkets and convenience stores and are a good add-on if you feel that you want just a little bit more with your main dish.
