Rosie has been doing extremely well with her classes so far. She passed her first test with flying colors. This past Sunday, we also had a young lady come to church who hadn’t been to a service in a while. Rosie definitely had improved greatly in being able to converse since the last time the young lady had come to church.
Rosie is not the only one learning things about Japanese! This past Friday night, I had the opportunity to meet with a young man at the church and learn some things about Japanese and culture. Japanese can be tricky because the way you say things changes drastically depending on who you are talking to (i.e. Older than you, younger than you etc.). Please continue to pray for us as we learn and minister here.
Also, please continue to pray for us as we knock on doors and invite people to church. Unless the Lord is in the work here, we labor in vain!

Rainy season is a time of the year when it rains almost every day for about a month in most parts of Japan. One company is trying to have an umbrella sharing service to help people stay dry only when needed. Click here to find out about the umbrella sharing service.
