Entrance Ceremony, Easter, and Everlasting Life (4/23/2019)

This past weekend, we attended the entrance ceremony for Rosie’s Japanese language school! The school works with many international students to help them learn Japanese. There are students from various countries including China, Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and the United States. Classes officially began on Monday and has already received her textbooks to start learning.

This past Sunday was Easter. We had a children’s event at the church that brought many first-time visitors and the majority of them stayed for the Sunday AM service afterward. Bro Hill preached on the reality of the resurrection and one man placed his faith in Christ after the service. Thank you for your continued prayers!

Finally, if you or any young people you know are still looking for a good camp to attend this summer, the Our Generation Missions Camp still has a few slots left! To find out details about the camp, please visit ogcamp.org

From the News

In Japan, religion is technically (though not practically) separate from the state. A group of law makers recently decided to visit a major shrine in Japan today, showing just how much traditional Japanese religion permeates the country. You can see them at the shrine in this article. Please continue to pray for laborers to get the gospel out here in Japan!
