8 Churches in 6 Days (11/20/2018)

The Lord has been doing some amazing things! Last week, we mentioned that a church had voted to take us on for support. After we sent out the update, 7 other churches between Tuesday and Sunday night contacted us about taking us on for support!

After driving home from Ohio through some freezing rain last Thursday, we were part of wedding in the Atlanta area on Saturday. Rosie’s sister got married to one of my friends at Vision Baptist church.

We have another praise to share! Last week, we mentioned that we had a cancellation for Sunday night. Right after that, a newly formed church wanted us to come and present at their church! They voted to take us on and were one of the 8 churches that decided to partner with us within those 6 days.

Today, we applied for Silas’ Japanese passport at the Japanese consulate in Atlanta. Please continue to pray for Rosie’s paperwork in Japan to go through quickly and smoothly.

On a personal note, please pray for my health. I believe I have contracted bronchitis after being sick over the weekend and recruiting laborers in Florida on Monday. Please pray for a speedy recovery.

From the News

Japan has a traditional paper that is commonly used called “washi.” Many times people would write important documents as well as draw pictures on this paper. The New York Times recently did a special article about paper in Japan that you may find particularly interesting. You can read it here.
