Weekly Update (9/20/16) - Baptist Church Planting in Japan

Updates | Praises | Prayer Requests

Dear Pastors and prayer partners,

Thank you for all of your prayers and support. My first meeting on deputation was with my home Church. The theme was The Light of the World, and veteran missionary Jason Holt preached the conference. The Church did a tremendous job hosting the conference.

This past Sunday, I was in Elijay, GA and Smyrna, GA and was privileged to be part of Vision Baptist Church of Cobb County’s Missions Conference.

Below are a few praises and prayer requests that I would like to share with you as well as an interesting article from the news this week.

Praises:

First set of meetings have gone well
Deputation setup/preparation is 90% done

Prayer Requests:

The remaining 10% or deputation setup
Meetings for the 2017 Calendar Year
Strength and Wisdom and finish up my current Job and transition into full-time deputation in January

Japan is getting grayer each year, and an interesting game has emerged as well as unique seminars so people will know how to handle the aging problem in Japan. You can read about it here.
