Weekly Update (6/19/2018)

This week, we are at the Our Generation Camp! This camp is for middle/high school students and focuses specifically on missions and world evangelism. We have about 200 at camp this year. Please pray that God will work in the lives of these young people! I will have an opportunity to preach this evening, so please pray for that as well as all of the teaching that will be going on throughout the day.

On Sunday, we were with two different churches. While we originally had an opening for that Sunday night, another church we were scheduled to be with also needed to rescheduled, so we were able to be in two churches on Sunday. However, because of this, we now have this coming Sunday night (Sunday PM, June 24th) open, so please pray that we can quickly get this filled. Tomorrow we will be in the Memphis area for a meeting.

A problem we hear about on deputation is also in Japan. See the news section for more information.

From the News

As we travel on deputation, a common prayer request that we hear is concerning a loved one battling cancer. Cancer is a big cause of death in Japan as well. About one in four deaths in Japan are actually caused by cancer, and this article will show you that are still in great need of missionaries in Japan!
