Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for safety. Over the last week, I have heard from three new supporting churches! We are very excited as the Lord continues to provide and bring us closer to the field. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, but it definitely doesn’t end with one step! Please continue to pray that the Lord will help us raise the support we need.
I had the opportunity to present in two separate churches in Mississippi on Sunday, and yesterday evening, I had the chance to be with a church in the Chattanooga area as they focused on breaking down racial barriers and focusing on the Gospel. Praise the Lord that God wants All Nations to be saved, and that one day every tribe and tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
In Japan, learning English is very much part of their educational system. However, it is almost equivalent to one learning Spanish at school in America. One prefecture is taking their English education to an entirely new level. See the news section for more details.

From the News
- Like many countries in the world, learning English has many advantages. With the Tokyo Olympics just around the corner in 2020 to bring many foreign tourists, Japan continues to work on polishing its ability to be more global. While not the host prefecture of the Olympics, Shimane prefecture’s police force has started offering martial arts classes to foreigners to help their officers learn English. You can learn more about this endeavor here.
