Weekly Update (12/12/2017)

On Wednesday we we fairly close to home in GA for our meeting and on Sunday we were with two other churches. Over the weekend we had quite a bit of snow in the Atlanta area which concerned us because our Sunday meetings were in Mississippi, but the Lord provided safe travels. Thank you for your prayers.

Yesterday, we received a call from the church we were with Sunday morning saying they would begin supporting the work. We praise the Lord for one new supporting church!

Please don’t forget about the Our Generation Summit that is just around the corner. I am excited to be there with many fellow missionaries from Vision Baptist Missions. You can learn more about the speakers and sessions at https://www.ogsummit.com/

Japan is often cited as a nation with an overall low crime rate, but this doesn’t mean that there is no crime. Check out the news section to find out which age group counted for about 1 in 5 cases.

From the News

While people often talk about how people in Japan are polite and the country is safe, there are still problems. We cannot expect people with a sin problem to not manifest that problem. Recently, a 74 year old man was arrested on charges of theft of over a quarter of a million dollars. Click here to find out more about this incident and see how desperately Japan needs Jesus!
