Weekly Update (1/16/2018)

On Friday, we had the opportunity to be in North Georgia for a missions conference. Right after the service, it also began snowing, but we were able to safely get home (with some icicles on our car)! We were also blessed to be with two different churches in the Atlanta area on Sunday. One of these churches has voted to take us on for support beginning next month as well! Thank you for your continued prayers for our support. Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will be heading to Tennessee for a meeting as well. Please be praying for our safety on the road.

Next month, Vision Baptist Missions will be holding a 1-day World Evangelism Conference in Pickens, South Carolina. This is an amazing opportunity for teens and youth  groups to be personally exposed to foreign missions as part of our missionary team will be there for the event! We would love to have you there. Details are below, and can also be viewed here.

From the News

As a means of increasing tourism and talk, one city in Japan has decided to incorporate art into their streets. It is not uncommon for a pedestrian to come across a manhole cover with a design on it in Japan. However, one city has decided to begin using a popular character in Japan known as Hello Kitty on their manhole covers. Click here for the article as well as pictures.
