Weekly Update (01/10/17)

Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners,

Now that the holidays are over, you will be receiving the weekly update emails once again. Thank you for your prayers throughout the Christmas season.

This past week, I had the opportunity to be in 3 different churches (Wednesday, Sunday AM/PM). Since I began full-time deputation this month, I am now able to preach/present in more churches than I was able to before.

The Lord has also provided a great number of meetings for the first quarter this year. Currently, my schedule has me in 44 churches in Jan-March, and the last Wednesday in March remains to be filled!

Yesterday was a big day in Japan – Coming of Age Day (成人の日). Each year, things can sometimes get a little crazy in Japan. Read below to learn a little more about this time in Japan. Have you ever seen people in Kimonos riding a roller coaster?

Praise:
  • First quarter almost completely booked up!
Prayer Requests:
  • For needed support to come in.
  • Meetings for the 2nd and remaining quarters of this year.
From the News
  • While in the US high school and college graduations can get roudy, Japan has it’s own time that youth celebrate their entrance to adulthood. Coming of Age Day (Seijin no hi) is just that. To learn more about this day as well as see the roller coaster ride photo, be sure to click here.
