Pivot (2/14/2023)

As we searched for a second location for a church plant on the south part of town, the Lord has continued to close doors. The building we planned to rent in December fell through. Additionally, we learned this past week that the basketball court currently undergoing renovations right by that location (previously a hotspot for young adults to hang out and a great ministry opportunity) won’t be completed for several months due to debris and contaminants uncovered in the soil. Through keeping us out of that building, we believe the Lord knew all along that the area wouldn’t work out as we had hoped.

We recently moved our “branch” location Bible study from a Sunday afternoon to the second Tuesday night of the month, and yesterday we had 6 adults from 4 different wards in our city attend. Since the south part of town seems to be a closed door, we have been in touch with our realtor about pivoting to look for a building in an area near this central location. Please pray with us as we actively look for a building to rent for the second location.

p.s. We recently took an updated family photo. If you would like it for updating your church (or your fridge?) click here.
