O-H…. I-O
On Sunday we were with two churches in Ohio. One was a supporting church and the other was a church that supports the Hill family (who we worked with in Japan). While the trip was one of our longer trips this furlough, we had a safe trip there and back.
You may have heard about how the U.S. has raised the travel advisory to Japan from Level 3 (Avoid Non-essential Travel) to Level 4 (Do Not Travel). However, this is does not mean we CANNOT enter the country. We are still monitoring the situation, but expect to be able to return as expected at the end of August. Please continue to pray for wisdom as we prepare to return!

When we are in the states, we are based in the Atlanta area (home to Coca-Cola) However, competition (aka Pepsi) still has some influence in this world and is going strong in Japan. In fact, Pepsi recently unveiled their “Raw” cola in Japan. Check out this article to learn more about the raw (but not undercooked) cola.
