This past weekend, we had the opportunity go to Nagaoka City which is about an hour south of us to watch the annual fireworks festival. The Nagaoka fireworks festival is one of the three largest festivals in Japan. It was magnificent!
In other news, a lady who has attended the English class asked about a church we could recommend to her friend who lives a couple hours away. While this mother has yet to trust Christ herself, she wanted to encourage her friend to go to church. We were thrilled to be able to have a part in that!
Please continue to lift us up in prayer as we work during the summer here. Please especially continue to pray for Yuko who has recently started coming back to church as well as Takafumi (college student) to get saved!
