June 2018 Prayer Letter

In May, we presented in 12 different churches with the Lord’s blessing. Even though we had minor car trouble one night due to the bolt holding our alternator breaking, the Lord protected us and we were able to quickly get the needed repairs done. The Our Generation Pastor’s Conference at the beginning of the month went well and the intern with VBM for the summer has been off to a good start. We are excited about the work he is doing with us to create materials to promote world evangelism. Last month, we also attended our mission board’s annual orientation and were challenged by our leadership to continue working with a Kingdom mindset.

For June, we are scheduled to be at 12 churches and ask that you continue to pray for safety on the road and additional supporters. During June, we will also be part of the Our Generation Camp (www.visionmissions.com/camp) from June 18th – 22nd. At the end of the month, we will be kicking off a special Bible study at our church. This will be done over the course of four weeks beginning at the end of June for four Saturdays. We have begun knocking on doors to invite people, so please pray that we will have a good turnout and that we can see people saved.

Please also join us in another matter of prayer. Japan is still in tremendous need of laborers and churches. We would like to see 1000 churches started in Japan over the course of the next 20 years. For this to happen, we are praying for 100 laborers who will each train 10 men and each start 10 churches. Please go to reachingjapan.com/ten-hundred-thousand to learn more about this.

We would like you to join us in praying for several other things. As we mentioned in our last prayer letter, please be praying that the churches that we have presented in up to this point will be moved to take us on for monthly support. Please continue to pray for our setup fund as we anticipate our departure next year.

Yours for Japan,
The Miyashita Family
