It’s a Boy! – Weekly Update (4/24/2018)

This past Sunday Morning, we had the chance to present at a church in the Chattanooga area. Sunday evening was a bit unusual for us since the church we were scheduled to be with had canceled their regular Sunday night service. We praise the Lord that there are many churches and we were able to drop into another church that was about fifteen minutes away. The pastor was very welcoming and even had us come up and prayed for us! Today we are on the road headed toward Pennsylvania for a missions conference that will begin tomorrow.

I would also like to apologize to all of our prayer partners for failing to reach out last Tuesday. While our weekly update went out on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) on time, the email did not send until Wednesday. Please forgive our delayed correspondence.

Yesterday, we had a 20-week ultrasound to find out the gender of our baby, and found out that we will be having a boy this fall! We are excited about having a son, and ask for your continued prayers for protection and safety.

Yesterday, we also heard that a church voted to start supporting us on Sunday Night! Thank you for your continued prayers for our financial support!

From the News

Japan hosts many long-living people. Recently a man 112 year old man was recognized as the oldest man alive. A woman that was going to be recognized as the oldest woman alive passed away. She was 117. As time continues to tick along, we must realize that 1) most people do not live this long, and 2) those without Christ will spend eternity apart from Christ. Click here to learn more.
