This past Thursday, the prime minister in Japan announced that the state of emergency declaration that he had made earlier would be extended to the rest of the country (including Niigata). Things have not changed drastically where we are, and life is continuing on as normal for the most part. However, we have decided to take some extra precautions. Some stored have closed, and they have asked non-essential businesses to hold back. We are still having church services but are cancelling our major activities, such as English classes, over this concern. However, we are still grateful that we have privilege of meeting together as a church. Please be praying for us as we figure out how to do ministry during this time. I’m sure this is a question that all of us are trying to answer. We are thankful for the internet. Beginning this Saturday, we are launching an online Bible study. Please be praying for that. We are working to try to use this as a way to evangelize people who have little to no exposure to the Gospel. It is a very basic Bible study so please pray that the Lord will use it.
