February 2018 Prayer Letter

Thank you for your prayers! The Lord has continued to bless us in our deputation and seven new churches sent in support during January. This brings us to around 45% of our needed support to get back to Japan. We are excited since this means we are on target for getting back to Japan early next year. During January, we also had the opportunity to be at 15 different churches in NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, and FL. We have had a couple meetings that either needed to cancel or re-schedule, but the Lord has continued to provide other places to be able to present.

For February, we are scheduled to be in 17 different churches. Because we often are scheduled to be in churches on week nights for mission conferences, the Lord has allowed us to be able to present in an especially large number of churches each month. We are excited that so many churches are excited about foreign missions and welcome missionaries to be with them. Please continue to pray for our safety as we travel from church to church to present.

While we were originally scheduled to be in Boston during the first of the year, weather did not permit the Northeast Our Generation Summit to taking place. However, we are very excited about several missions events that will be coming up. On February 10th,  we will attending the World Evangelism Conference that will be put on by Vision Baptist Missions in South Carolina. We are also excited about the Our Generation Pastor’s Conference that will be held at our home church (Vision Baptist Church) on May 7-9. This conference is specifically designed to help pastors be involved in world missions, and we are excited to see what the Lord will do through this time.

Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support. We are grateful to have you stand with us as we seek to go back to Japan and covet your prayers as we continue raising support.

Yours for Japan,
The Miyashita Family
