For a little over a week, our family has been dealing with some sickness (congestion, vomiting etc.) but we seem to be out of the woods now. Thankfully, we were able to have our midweek bible study on Zoom (we typically do it on Zoom and in person simultaneously) and our regulars were able to participate.
We are gearing up for a Christmas eve service on the 24th in addition to two services on the 25th (10 am and 2 pm). We have asked people to sign up in advance and it looks like both times on Sunday will have a good turnout.
We are also getting things ready for starting a monthly youth-focused activity beginning next month to attract young people. Please pray for wisdom and contacts as we finalize some of the details for this.

What’s it like to live in Japan? While living and working here makes everything seem “normal”, we recently ran across an article where someone described their grocery store experience. Not all grocery stores are the same and not everyone shops the same way. However, this article gives a glimpse at what it’s like to go to the store here in Japan.
