In August, we held our Summer Recon Tour. Our time together with the pastor from Minnesota was mutually beneficial. After faithfully pastoring for several years, he feels God calling him to Japan. We were able to show him what life and ministry look like in Japan, and he was an encouragement to many in our

The past few weeks have been a little bit slower, but along with the change in pace comes the opportunity to observe how God is faithfully working in hearts. Some of our regulars are getting more involved at church and exercising their spiritual gifts. One gentleman has stepped in to help keep coffee supplies stocked

We recently celebrated our first baptism. An older gentleman who had previously been sprinkled asked to be biblically baptized. After confirming his testimony of faith, we decided to proceed. Although we had some challenges with the pool, we were able to resolve them in time for the service, which was attended by 23 people! One

We are eagerly preparing for an upcoming seminar aimed at introducing Christianity and the Bible to newcomers. This special event will be held at an iconic downtown location, called the TV Tower. Since people live busy lives, we decided to compress several weeks of a beginner Bible study into a one-day event. We will look

This year, we held our Easter Celebration and picnic at the park. We sang and had a short message about the resurrection. It was encouraging to see a lady who regularly attends bring her unsaved family — mother, daughter in law, AND grandson! The same afternoon, we hosted an easter egg hunt and about 35

Winter is drawing to a close and we are excited to be welcoming Spring and along with it the highly anticipated cherry blossom season in Japan! As Easter and cherry blossom season perfectly coincide this year, we are currently finalizing plans for our combined Easter service and outdoor picnic at the park on Sunday morning.
