This past week, especially over the weekend, household items started to arrive at our house. Since we have been working on setting up without anything to start with, we are grateful that things we would use on a daily basis are coming together. These would include basic conveniences like a refrigerator and washer/dryer. Pieces of furniture have also begun to arrive as well. We also now have our own transportation. (yay!)
Bro. Hill has continued to allow me to preach the Sunday afternoon service. Since we have been going through the book of John, this week was about Jesus as the Lamb of God. The notes I had prepared included verses about how Jesus is the only way (John 14:6, Acts 4:12) and I think the Lord used this. One woman, who has been attending off and on recently, was talking to us between the morning and afternoon. She mentioned that what Jesus says is good, but there are good things that buddhism teaches as well. The verses were timely in showing that there is only one way. Please pray for Yuko to get saved.

From the News
Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan, hosts an annual snow festival. Unlike a festival with lights, this festival is centered on large and/or detailed sculptures made out of snow and ice. You will probably find the pictures in this article fascinating.
