What an exciting month October was! We had the opportunity to be at a total of 17 churches in NY, OH, TN, GA, and NC (we were in 5 churches during the first six days!). Even though two of our meetings last month had to re-schedule, the Lord opened up opportunities to present somewhere else at the last minute. Additionally, seven new churches also sent in support! God is moving and doing great things, and we are excited to watch Him work.
With all of our travels, we constantly ask people to pray for our safety on the road. This past month, we hit a deer on the way home from one of our meetings. The Lord, however, protected us and there was only minimal damage done to our vehicle (broken mirror and dent). Having driven over 50,000 miles this year, we ask you to pray for us as we drive to our meetings and present the work.
For November, we are scheduled to be at 14 different churches. As we continue to seek opportunities to present the work, the Lord also continues to open up additional opportunities for us to be able to present at mission conferences in-between our other meetings. We are very excited to have these additional opportunities and praise the Lord for them.
The Lord also has been opening up the doors for us in many churches for 2018 and we are completely booked until July 1st, 2018. Presently, we have two openings in July, and only one each left in August, September, and October. Once we are booked for 2018, we will be focusing our attention on other areas of preparing for the mission field, so please pray with us that these meetings would be quickly booked.
Please also be in prayer for the Our Generation Summit (www.ogsummit.com) that will be taking place in Atlanta (Dec 28-30) and Boston (Jan 4-6). Please pray that many young people will surrender their lives to get the Gospel both to Japan and to the world.
