Missionaries to Japan – The Miyashita Family

Church Planting in Japan

James and Rosie are church planting missionaries to Japan with Vision Baptist Missions.

While preparing for the mission field, James and Rosie began spending time together through ministry and outreach at the church. They were married on April 8th, 2017. Together they travelled to churches all over the East Coast to present the ministry and raise the support needed to live and work in Japan as missionaries. God has blessed the Miyashita family with three sons, Silas, Amos and Ezra.

James and Rosie arrived in Japan on January 2nd, 2019 for their first term of language acquisition and cultural adaptation and have been working with Will and Rebelle Hill in Niigata, Japan. Beginning in 2021, they launched out to plant a church to reach Japanese people with the Gospel. You can subscribe to their newsletter to get their latest updates.

Independent Baptist

As Independent Baptists, the Miyashita family works to plant indigenous churches. With Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone of the church planting work, their ministry values the Bible, expository preaching, discipleship, and and leadership training.

The Miyashita family is sent out of Vision Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Vision Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church which is home to Vision Baptist Missions and the Our Generation Training Center which trains missionaries for the harvest.
