We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with family and trust you did as well. As we enter the Christmas season, so does Japan. However, since Japan has significantly less Christian influence than the United States, most people give gifts or have parties, but do not know the reason why. We get to share the greatest gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, and much of what we do is because of your faithful prayers and support. Thank you so much.
During November, we also had the opportunity to be at 15 different churches including 3 mission conferences during in GA, TN, NC, and OH. Presently, we are scheduled to be at 13 different churches in December. The Lord has been opening up many doors for us, and we are now scheduled for every Sunday AM, Sunday PM, and Wednesday night service in 2018. We are continuing to schedule meetings on other days of the week as well, but we are thankful that the Lord has already opened up the doors for us to be in 170 churches in 2018. Now that we are booked for next year, we are going to be working to prepare for our time on the field in different ways including preparing messages and learning under the pastoral staff at our home church.
Additionally, we heard from a number of churches that have voted to take us on for support and a few new churches that have sent in support. Currently we are at 33% of our needed support to get back to Japan. We are excited to be 1/3rd of the way there and ask that you pray for the Lord to provide the needed support in His timing.
Please continue to pray for the Our Generation Summit in Atlanta at the end of this month and in Boston at the beginning of January. This is an event to encourage young people to join the work to evangelize the world in our generation. Please pray for laborers for God’s harvest. Since I will be leading the singing, please also pray for wisdom and strength as we enter into another busy month in preparation.
