Weekly Update (3/06/17)

Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners,

The Lord continues to open doors and create opportunities to present, and we are very excited that He does this. On Sunday morning, I was with a church in Kentucky and on Sunday evening, in Alabama. At the end of the morning service, the pastor said what he was about to do was unorthodox, but asked that the church make a motion to start supporting the ministry. Right there, they decided that they would! Thank you for your prayers, and please continue to pray that God will raise the support we need. Each church gets us one step closer to the field.

In this month’s prayer letter, we briefly mentioned the mission trip to Japan this summer that we would love to have you come on. If you haven’t already, please be sure to visit the signup page and get registered is you would like to go. The deadline is quickly approaching, and you won’t want to miss this opportunity!

Have you ever seen life-like replicas of food in front of restaurants? In Japan, many places will have a case in front of their store with these life-like replicas to lure in those who walk by. Check out the news section for more information and a link to the blog article.

Praise:
  • One new supporting church from this past Sunday

Prayer Requests:
  • Meeting for Easter Sunday Morning in GA
  • Continued safety travelling

From the News
  • When you think of Japanese cuisine, the first dish that might come to mine might be sushi. Besides sushi, however, there are many other Japanese dishes with plenty or restaurants that serve those dishes. This article explains the replicas these restaurants use to attract customers ,and I think you will find it amusing. The company owner’s favorite food replica is a plate of spaghetti with a fork in mid-air!
