During the last couple of weeks in July, an overwhelming number of churches decided to begin partnering with us, and the Lord has brought our support level to 76%!! We appreciate your continued prayers churches to financially partner with us.
After looking at the rate our support has been increasing and talking to our pastor as well as our mission board director, our plans to leave have been expedited. While we were planning to leave in April/May of 2019, we are now shooting to leave in January! Please be praying for us as we begin to make departure preparations which would include visa paperwork, housing arrangements, and much more.
In the middle of all this, we had a 4-week Bible study that we had asked you to pray for. While we did not have a good turnout, this did create opportunities to share the Gospel and one Muslim man who I met brought a friend and attended a midweek church service. Please be praying for Yasir to get saved.
Toward the end of July, Rosie also had a baby checkup and another ultrasound to check on our baby’s health and he is doing very well. Thank you for continuing to pray for us as we approach the September 7th due date!
We are excited that August is packed with multiple exciting opportunities and events. Currently, we are scheduled to be with 13 different churches. From August 9th-11th, Vision Baptist Missions will be holding the Vision Impact weekend for young people to check out the Our Generation Training Center and see if the Lord might lead them there to train for missions. On August 25th, Vision will be hosting the Women Behind the Scenes Conference for ladies and pastor’s wives. This is a special event for women who are in ministry, and Rosie would like to encourage all ladies to come and enjoy this time of fellowship spiritual nourishment
Finally, we would like to say thank you to everyone who has given toward our setup fund. As our plans to leave have been become sooner than anticipated, we appreciate your love and support to enable us to do what we are doing.
